Training Focus

The market for mobile systems is one of most rapidly evolving markets in the history of telecommunication. With the growing of the GSM and UMTS networks the subject of the electromagnetic compatibility in the environment will become more and more important. With this training we will show the physical background, the real stress in the environment today and the limiting values in different countries. We will discuss in detail the effects of modern mobile systems like GSM, TETRA and UMTS.

Course Objectives

After the training the participants will be able to understand the physical background of electromagnetic compatibility and the effects of the different occasions for electromagnetic stress. The trainees will be able to follow and to participate in technical parts of public discussion on EMC and they can react to attacks concerning the current limiting values.
